Fowey, Polruan and Polperro

Fantastic Fowey with the beautiful river and beaches ,bustling town, shops ,great food and friendly pubs.

offering water sports including kyaking trips up the river, boat hire,passenger ferry to Polruan and the car ferry from Fowey across to Bodinnick.

Polruan has some stunning scenery ,lovely walks and open gardens to visit.

There is the sea ferry to Mevagissey , weather permitting.The Fowey festival of words and music starts 08/05/13 , Robert Powel, Kate Humble and Fern Britten are among the guests this year.

Fowey Reggatta is the 17th – 24th Aug and is shaping up to be the best yet and of course the Red Arrows will be performing their heart stopping display midweek.

A lot of people enjoy walking the coastal path from Polperro to Fowey and then catching the local bus back, Polperro itself is a lovely old fishing village, you can go back in time walking around the tiny streets and the museum is no to be missed

Throughout the first week of December, Fowey hosts a week of festive entertainment.
29th November- a BBQ on the river front at Berrils Yard, live music and Santa arrives in style by boat, followed by a lantern procession thro the town to the church for the Christmas lights to be turned on st about 7pm, followed by a hog roast and carol singing by the town choir. Many of the shops will be open until 7.30pm.
Sat 30th Nov is the date for Foweys fab Christmas Market with the pirates of St Piran and Foweys Voiceworks Choir performing around the town
