St Austell and Charlestown

St Austells new shopping centre seems to be going from strength to strength, new shops opening and now new places to sit and eat or just have a coffee. Mums been in Costa and really liked the raspberry tea.

There’s now a local produce market on Saturdays, starting 23rd Jan, so I’m really looking forward to that.

The new multi screen cinema is really good but it amazes me how much the food costs !

Ben and Jerrys seem really popular and friends that have been said it was very good and with other restaurants and the Eden Cafe offering live music , good food and entertainment for the youngsters , St Austell is certainly worth a visit.

St Austell port is the lovely harbour of Charlestown.  The pubs and restaurants are really good and at night the habour looks fantastic, with the old square rigger ships and tiny fishermens cottages.

The ship wreck centre is a great place to visit and is bigger than it looks from the outside and not to be missed.
